Flame Retardant Sleeves Advantages

  • HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE

    The silicone structure on the surface of fireproof sleeve contains both organic groups and inorganic structures. This special composition and molecular structure make it integrate the characteristics of organic matter and the functions of inorganic matter. Compared with other polymer materials, its outstanding performance is high temperature resistance. Silicone is not only resistant to high temperature, but also resistant to low temperature. Thus, flameproof sleeve can be used in a wide temperature range.    

  • SPLASH PROOF

    The fire resistant sleeve coated with multiple layers of silicone can realize multiple safety protection, effectively prevent the splashing of high-temperature molten materials such as molten iron, molten copper and molten aluminum, and prevent the surrounding cables and equipment from being damaged.

    Our fire protection sleeve has strong chemical stability. The organic silicone on the fire protection sleeve does not react to oil, water, acid, alkali and other substances.     Our fire resistant sleeve has good electrical insulation performance. Its dielectric loss, voltage resistance, arc resistance, corona resistance, volume resistance coefficient and surface resistance coefficient are the best among insulating materials, and the electrical performance of our  flameproof sleeve is little affected by temperature and frequency.

  • FLAME RETARDANT

    If flammable or toxic media are transported in the pipeline, it is easy to cause fire or casualties in case of leakage. Cables often burn due to high temperature. Our flame retardant sleeves are woven with extremely high temperature resistant fiberglass, and the surface silicone is added with appropriate flame retardant and other special raw materials, so that it has excellent flame retardant.




Fiberglass Heat Resistance

The fireproof sleeve can withstand continuous exposure to 260℃(500℉) and molten splash up to 1650℃(3000℉). When continuous exposure over 260℃(500℉), the silicone rubber  of thermal sleeve for wires would pulverize with no harm to human while the fiberglass yarn interior can still work with enhanced fire resistant performance that withstand continuous exposure to 650℃(1200℉).


Application of Fire Protection Sleeve


1. Exhaust systems for trucks and buses: fiberglass fire sleeve can be used to keep exhaust heat into the catalytic converter.

2. Generator exhaust system: fiberglass heat shield sleeve is usually used for generator exhaust noise reduction and heat pipe near the staff protection.

3. Protection of pipe fittings: heat protection sleeves for cables can provide additional flexible insulation to control heat loss of heat pipes and provide protection against possible contact with such hoses.

4. Steel and metallurgical industry: glass fiber heat resistant sleeving and heat-resistant winding with good silicone rubber coating has been proved to be the most ideal product to protect cables and related components.     Yes, the fire resistant sleeve can be cut. You can measure the length you need before cutting.
