Fiberglass casing has high strength, high elastic modulus, light weight, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, repeated use is not easy to generate memory, good mechanical properties, easy to machine, long-term use without regular maintenance. The tensile strength of fiberglass sleeve is more than 8 to 10 times that of ordinary steel, and it has excellent creep resistance, corrosion resistance and shock resistance. By increasing the stiffness and stiffness of glass fibers, the strength and stiffness of the plastic can be increased, but the toughness of the same plastic can be reduced. Fiberglass sleeves are lightweight, 1/5 the weight of steel. The fiberglass sleeve has high elasticity, which can be reused by mechanical equipment, without memory, without deformation, and antistatic.


Ⅱ. The purchase skills of fiberglass sleeve


1. Touch: Whether the texture is fine and the particles are uniform. When you touch it with your hand, the rough particles are likely to be mixed with other impurities.


2. Smell: with or without odor. Good pipes have no smell, and bad ones have a strange smell, which may be blended with polyethylene (ie PE) instead of polypropylene.


3. Kneading: The glass fiber sleeve has considerable hardness, and it can be easily pinched into a deformed tube, which is definitely not a PPR tube.


4. Smashing: A good glass fiber sleeve has good resilience. It is too easy to smash because there are too many calcium carbonate fillers, which is naturally not a good glass fiber sleeve. An unbreakable glass fiber tube may not be a good tube. The key is to look at the raw materials and processing technology.


5. Burning: Burning once is very intuitive and very useful. The fiberglass sleeve mixed with recycled plastic and other impurities in the raw material will emit black smoke and have a pungent odor; good materials will not emit black smoke and odor after burning, and the molten liquid is still very clean after burning.


Ⅲ. Cleaning and maintenance of fiberglass sleeve


1. Clean water: Clean water is to rinse the inner wall of the fiberglass heat sleeve with clean water, but the impurities such as calcium and magnesium ion scale and biological slime attached to the inner wall of the glass fiber sleeve cannot be completely removed, and the effect is not obvious.


2. Potion cleaning: Potion cleaning is to add chemical reagents to the water, but the chemical composition is corrosive to the glass fiber sleeve, and also shortens the life of the glass fiber sleeve.


3. Physical cleaning: Now on the market, the working principle of this cleaning is basically to use compressed air as the power, and use the launcher to launch a special projectile larger than the inner diameter of the pipe into the fiberglass sleeve, so that it runs along the pipe. The inner wall of the road moves at a high speed and is fully rubbed to achieve the effect of cleaning the inner wall of the pipeline. This method has obvious cleaning effect and basically no damage to the pipeline. It is the most thorough cleaning method so far.
