Introduction to High Temperature Resistant Fireproof Sleeve

The high temperature resistant fireproof sleeve is made of high-purity, alkali-free glass fiber and coated with silicone rubber for high-temperature treatment. It can be used continuously and maintain its soft and elastic properties within the temperature range of -65℃ to 260℃. It has many advantageous characteristics that are difficult to replace with other similar materials, such as high temperature resistance, heat insulation, flame retardance, chemical stability, moisture resistance and aging resistance. Especially for safety and environmental protection, it is a good substitute for hazardous products.

The special high temperature resistant material used in the high temperature resistant fireproof sleeve determines that it has many other characteristics that are difficult to replace with similar materials, such as high temperature resistance, heat insulation, flame retardance, electrical insulation, chemical stability, climate aging resistance, cold resistance, water resistance, oil resistance, ozone resistance, voltage resistance, arc resistance, corona resistance, and especially safety and environmental protection. It is the best substitute for asbestos and other hazardous products. The high temperature areas, heating areas of steel, metallurgy, shipping, and chemical industries, as well as cables, fluid pipelines, rolling mill cables and other applications are the fields for the high temperature resistant fireproof sleeve.

Application of High Temperature Resistant Fireproof Sleeve

  • Stainless steel corrugated tubes are often used as water cooling tubes for continuous casting equipment, and these pipelines are exposed to strong thermal radiation and molten splash. High temperature resistant fire sleeves can protect water cooling temperatures and improve production efficiency.

  • Induction heating furnaces and arc furnaces use water-cooled cables for power supply, and these cables are exposed to molten splash. Cable failure will cause huge production losses, and sleeves can protect cables and ensure normal operation of heating furnaces.

  • There are hundreds of rubber hydraulic pipes exposed to high temperatures on the hot rolling mill, which are prone to become brittle, crack and reduce service life. High temperature resistant fire sleeves can be used for protection.

  • Steel slag transport vehicles are used to transport molten steel slag, and radiation from steel slag will damage hydraulic pipes and cables around the car head. High temperature resistant fire sleeves can be used for protection.

  • In the coking workshop of a steel mill, heat-resistant sleeves are used to protect the power supply lines on the feeding car and the hydraulic control pipes on the furnace door.

  • The arc furnace has a large diameter stainless steel inlet pipe, which is exposed to molten steel under high temperature and splash. High temperature resistant sleeves should be used for protection.

The industries suitable for high temperature resistant fire sleeves include metallurgy, petrochemical, electric power, automotive and other industries' high temperature areas and heating areas, as well as working areas where hoses, oil pipes and cables are wrapped, etc.
